How It Works

2. Check your email for a verification link (expires in 1 hour)
3. Click the link to complete your request

This page is intended for requests related to your newsletter subscription data, including:

• Access (GDPR Article 15) — request a copy of the personal data we hold about your subscription
• Deletion (GDPR Article 17) — request deletion of your subscription data (subject to any lawful limitations or exceptions)

If you want to stop receiving emails, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. You do not need to submit a data-rights request to unsubscribe.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (for GDPR requests, typically within 1 month). If we need more time due to request complexity or volume, we will notify you and explain the reason.

To protect your data, we process requests only after verifying control of the email address. In some cases, we may ask for additional information to confirm identity or clarify the scope of your request. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why and what options you may have to contest the decision.

What Data Do We Store?

We store only the data needed to run and secure the newsletter service:

• Email address — to send you updates and manage your subscription
• Subscription status — pending, verified, or unsubscribed
• Internal subscriber ID — a random identifier used to manage your subscription
• Subscription & verification timestamps — when you signed up and confirmed your email
• IP address at signup — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention; retained up to 90 days, then cleared

When you request access, we will provide the personal data we have about your subscription (the fields listed above), in a structured format.

We do not store:

• Tracking cookies or cross-site advertising identifiers
• Personal information beyond what's listed above

Security event logs: If your IP address was recorded during a security event (such as rate limiting or abuse detection), that data is stored separately from newsletter subscription data and is not included in automated exports from this page. To request access to or deletion of security event data, please email contact@polyatomic.ai following the process described in Privacy Policy Section 9.4.
